The Deadcast #22: No Sanctuary

The Walking Dead's season 5 started off with a BIG BANG and we are off and running talking about the highs and lows of NO SANCTUARY. I think we can all say we were surprised at how short we were at Terminus. Probably a good thing. Joining Rictor Riolo is Tammy Murray, Zoe Stark, & Rob Serafinowicz. Sadly Sanh had to sit this webcast out, but he will be back. What's in the menu? Is Daryl gay? Did Tyreese's balls finally drop? Does Rob talk about the prison AGAIN? Watch and find out and be sure to subscribe. We love hearing from you.

After The Expedition...

Rictor and Tammy discuss the exciting events of their bigfoot expedition from the Sierras: Bigfoot Nation. Justin Smeja, Stacy Brown, Kipp Morrill, Shawn Evidence, John  Harper, Theresa Finch, Michael Lorentz and Ro Sahebi were in attendance and things got very interesting.  While dealing with unusual wood knocks, rock throws, FLIR recordings, Rictor getting the shit scared out of him, and up to 18" foot impressions... Rictor and Tammy and other expedition members were paid an unexpected visit by Law Enforcement and Fish & Game! Rictor seized the opportunity to ask them about their policies on Bigfoot... You will be surprised!

Derek Randles from the Olympic Project was called in later in the program to discuss the ethics of shooting wild animals (out of season) for the sole purpose of using as bait to catch a Bigfoot. Where do we draw the line? The repercussions of this are disastrous at Justin Smeja's kill site and we had to deal with Forest Rangers going through our camp, thanks to a poacher Bigfoot researcher...

There is a lot to share and talk about on this webcast!

The Legend, The Cowboy, The Man... Bob Gimlin

Bob Gimlin from the classic Patterson Gimlin Bigfoot film from 1967 is our Guest on
After Hours with Rictor.

On October 20, 1967, two cowboys, Roger Patterson and his friend Bob Gimlin, went down in history in the paranormal world by being at the right place at the right time... Frame 352 from Roger Patterson's movie camera is the most famous, iconic Bigfoot image ever and it has enthralled audiences across the world and frightened children growing up in the 1970's, motivating the next generation of Bigfooters like Cliff Barackman, Bart Cutino, Kathy Strain, and so on.  Little did Bob Gimlin know that his involvement with his late friend's fascination for Bigfoot would change his life forever.

In the 47 years since they filmed that female Sasquatch in Bluff Creek, a lot has changed in the world with technology, science, and ethics... what are Bob Gimlin's thoughts on the current state of Bigfooting? IS HE KILL OR NO KILL? And what advice does he have for the next generation? You will also hear him detail the events that lead right up to their chance encounter in the woods with "Patti" and what his favorite memories are of the late Roger Patterson (February 14, 1926 – January 15, 1972).  Did you know Bob had a second encounter just a few years ago? You will hear about that and why he doesn't do interviews.

Special thanks go out to Todd and Diane Neiss for giving After Hours with Rictor the opportunity of a lifetime to sit down with this Bigfoot icon and to Tom Yamarone for allowing us to use his Buddy Knox music video included in this interview.
